#HeartFelt: The inaugural Women in Cardiology initiative of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American College of Cardiology event was held at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Oakland, Thursday evening.

The Party: The American Heart Association’s 29th annual Heart Ball “Heart of a Champion” honored Dr. Flordeliza Villanueva with the Pulse of Pittsburgh Award and Timothy Powell with the Excellence in Nursing Award. 550 supporters came to celebrate the recipients and raise $1.2 million for research and prevention of stroke and heart attack education.
