Dr. Thamman is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology(ACC) and a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE).

Within the ACC, she has served on the Task Force for Disparities of Care since 2015. She started the Women in Cardiology(WIC) Pennsylvania chapter of the ACC in 2017 and had her inaugural WIC conference in February 2018.

She serves on the American College of Echocardiography on the Foundation Annual Appeal Committee.
